Double victory in Budapest - Delétraz wins ahead of Jörg
   
   

Free Practice 1 + 2: In the first free practice session one the Kaufmann drivers showed a good pace. Jörg on P 4 and Delétraz on P 6. Nikita Mazepin again as a Wild Card, was P 18.

 

In the second free practice it was incredible hot, around 36 degrees, like the rest of the weekend was. Jörg was really fast on P 1 and Delétraz on P 3. Mazepin suffered from a technical issue and had to stopp early.

 

Qualifying 1: In the first qualifying Delétraz and Mazepin was in Group A. Mazeping qualified himself on P 8. Delétraz was dominating the whole session. With a big gap he took Pole Position. In Group B it was Kevin Jörg on P 3.

 

Starting Grid for Race 1: Delétraz on Pole Position 7 - Jörg on P 6 - Mazepin on P 15.

Race 1: In the first race Mazepin had contact and damaged front wing and nose. As a result he only was able to finish P 17. Delétraz unfortunately had a jump start and got penalised with 10 seconds time penalty after the race. Delétraz still had such a great pace that he was able to secure a podium place in the end on P 3. Kevin Jörg was able to make up two positions in the race and finished on P 4.

Qualifying 2: The second qualifying saw Kevin Jörg taking provisional Pole in Group B. Nikita Mazepin was on P 10 in Group A. Louis Delétraz once more showed an incredible speed and took again Pole Position infront of teammate Kevin Jörg.

Starting Grid for Race 2: Delétraz on Pole Position - Jörg on P 2 - Mazepin on P 19.

Race 2: Mazepin drove a clean race improving himself a few positions. In the end the young Russian finished on P 14. In the lead both Kaufmann drivers drove an incredible dominant race. Louis Deöétraz was leading his teammate Kevin Jörg from the start to the finish. Both pulled away from the rest of the field every lap and opened up a very big gap. In the end Delétraz won the race infront of Jörg and with over 10 seconds lead of the rest of the field. An impressive performance from the two young Swiss drivers.
