Race 2: The
Race at Sunday afternoon was more than dramatic. At the start Frijns

day before he was fighting ver hard but finally finished on P 7.
Jaminet also like the day before, moved some place up the standings,
but got a 10 second time penalty at the end.
Robin Frijns drove
the race of the season so far. He was putting a lot of pressure on
the leader Carlos Sainz and finally in the middle of the race, Sainz
couldnīt handle the pressure anymore and Frijns found a way past.
After having taken the lead, Frijns, like always this year, drove
perfectly without the smallest mistake. He kept his position untill
the finish-line and secured his 5 th Victory for this year.
With that
impressive performance Frijns was able to take the Title of the
Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup 2011 Championship. Due to his massive
points lead, he won the Title already one round before the end of
this year. What an impressive performance by both, the young Dutch
Robin Frijns and his Team JOSEF KAUFMANN RACING.
