19.03.2010 Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup Season 2011

The last official test days before the 2011 season starts took place the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. In the morning session of the first day the Kaufmann Drivers were only running on used tyres and ended up on P6 - Frijns, P18 - Jaminet and P20 - Tunjo. In the afternoon Oscar Tunjo was able to improve himself to a fantastic P4 for the whole day. Robin Frijns, struggeling with some mechanical problems on his Formula Renault car, was only able to finish on P11. Mathieu Jaminet finished inside Top 20 on P19.

On the second day it was Robin Frijns who set the fastest time of the whole day. In the morning session the Kaufmann Driver was the fastest man on the track with a laptime of 1.43.965. Mathieu Jaminet again was on P19, while Oscar Tunjo had an accident on his run on new tyres and only finished on P31. In the afternoon the times didn´t imporve anymore.

Frijns and Tunjo in Top 5 during official tests at Motorland Aragon

Also during the official test days of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup 2011 at Motorland Aragon, the Kaufmann Drivers Frijns and Tunjo were on the pace once again. Frijns had been the 2nd fastest driver on track during both, the morning and afternoon session. Oscar Tunjo was fist 9th, then improved himself up to P5 in the afternoon. Mathieu Jaminet in both sessions was able to set the 21st fastest practice time.

During the second day, the picture didn´t change a lot. Frijns was able to set the fastest lap time of the whole morning session. During the afternoon he was again 2nd fastest. Oscar Tunjo was 7 in the morning and 5. in the afternoon. Mathieu Jaminet again nearly made it into the top 20. He was 24th and 21st.

02.03.2010 Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup Season 2011

During the first official Testdays of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup Season 2011, the Team of Josef Kaufmann was able to show a very fast pace directly from the beginning on. Robin Frijns was the fastest man on track during the morning and afternoon session. Teammates Oscar Tunjo and Mathieu Jaminet had been on P15 and P7 as well on P 19 and P11.

At the second test day Robin Frijns was 2nd fastest in the morning session. Due to a red flag sequence Robin Frijns wasn´t able to make a proper run on new tyres and was 5th fastest in the afternoon. Oscar Tunjo was 11th ind the morning and 10th in the afternoon. Mathieu Jaminet placed himself on P23 and P21 in the afternoon.
